About the music:
Two Quartets was my FIRST EVER release culled from my first recording session as a leader. In hindsight, I kind of rushed into recording and bandleading but I’m grateful for all I’ve learned in the process. The music aligns with my influences at the time: Kurt Rosenwinkel, Brian Blade and His Fellowship Band, and some other stuff. I hope you enjoy it!
